We REMEMBER the sacrifice and vision of twenty-six men and women, who in 1809—at a time of widespread adoption of Unitarian beliefs contrary to historic Christian faith—joined together to form a new church that is solidly Trinitarian and vital in its evangelical faith. Park Street Church continues today as a thriving, congregational church and is a member of the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference.
We REJOICE that for nearly two hundred years, our beautiful meetinghouse has been located at the most important crossroads in the heart of Boston, been spiritual home for tens of thousands, and been the sending body for hundreds of missionaries to the far corners of the globe.
We REDEDICATE ourselves to the vision and mission of Park Street Church's founders to serve the spiritual and physical needs of the city and those from around the world living and studying in Boston. Generations have maintained and renewed this structure to meet the needs of their times. Now, this is our privilege and responsibility.
In December 2006, the leadership of Park Street Church announced the beginning of a three-year capital campaign to renew our buildings to enable our ministry. Over fifty members of our church are now serving on Campaign Leadership Teams with many hundreds more in various roles to engage and inform the congregation in this capital campaign.
