1829 William Lloyd Garrison's first public address against slavery given at Park Street Church
1831 "My Country Tis of Thee" sung for the first time by church Sunday School children
1838 Church building completely renovated
1877 D.L. Moody's campaign begins in Boston at Park Street
1910 Boston chapter of the NAACP begins at Park Street
1923 Radio broadcast begun
1940 First missionary conference
1949 – 1950 Billy Graham mid-century campaign
