Giving to the 200th Anniversary Capital Campaign

Park Street Church seeks the commitment of those who value and appreciate our beautiful historic meetinghouse and the extensive adjacent facilities that earlier generations have lovingly maintained for us through their own sacrificial giving.

Park Street Church needs your financial support to commence repairs and renovations that are required by a structure of our church's age, size and significance. Your gift is important, and every gift counts. There are several ways you can give:

  • Make a contribution by check: Your tax-deductible donation will help ensure that Park Street Church can undertake much needed repairs and renovations.

  •  Time & talent: Using your skills and talents in innovative ways can yield income to use as a gift.

  •   Appreciated securities and property: Park Street welcomes gifts of stock, mutual funds, bonds, real estate, and other personal property. These types of gifts allow PSC to benefit from the full market value of your gift while enabling you to take advantage of significant tax savings.

  • Plan a gift with income retained: During your lifetime, you may make gifts of securities or other property and retain a stream of income for yourself or other designated beneficiaries.

  •  Plan a gift in your will: Bequests by will are exempt from federal and most state inheritance taxes. With a gift by will, your total estate value is reduced, reducing your overall estate tax.

Other options are available, and you may wish to consult with your attorney or financial advisor for guidance in determining the planned gift approach that is right for you and your family. A Commitment Guide is available for download here.

When you contribute to the 200th Anniversary Capital Campaign, you renew our buildings to enable our ministry and provide for facilities that successive generations will enjoy. If you would like to stay informed as preservation and construction work progresses, please continue to check the project updates page. Also, ensure that your contact info is up-to-date with the church so that you will receive periodic communications.

“Lord, what would you do through me, to accomplish your vision for our church?”

The Apostle Paul boasts about the extraordinary generosity of the Macedonian churches: “And they did not do as we expected, but they gave themselves first to the Lord and then to us in keeping with God's will” (2 Corinthians 8:5). Given their limited resources, the way the Macedonian Christians gave of their substance was remarkable. In fact, “they gave as much as they were able, and even beyond their ability,” declares Paul (2 Corinthians 8:3).
